Appalachian Trail
Our Thru-hike of the AT was a SOBO 2007 journey, shortly after we got married, yes as our honeymoon!
We started at Mt. Katahdin in Maine on June 13 and finished November 11, 2007.

We are not ultra light hikers, but we quickly figured out what we did and did not need and by a month in were down to lighter weight hikers. Here is a spreadsheet with our gear-list-and-weights.xls
We decided we would prefer to cook our meals on the trail a little more gourmet style as to lessen the amount of trail hunger and town craziness. Here is our daily-meals-and-mileage.doc.
