Yesterday Missie and I took Violet for a walk out to Edwin Warner Park. We hiked the Harpeth Woods Trail and found a geocache entitled bats (GCN4VR).

Amicalola State Park to Neels Gap

This past weekend, Violet and I went hiking from Amicalola State Park to Neels Gap. We had a really great time and even met some folks starting on their first day of their Nobo 2008 Thru-hike. It was really thrilling to see folks starting on their journeys.

Violet and I had a great time meeting MacGuyver from Maine, Popeye and Afraidofticks from Michigan, Mr. Haha from Ohio, Ping from Tennessee, and these two other cats who had yet to get trail names from Florida. Below are pictures of Macguyver, Popeye, and Afraidofticks….

And of course, there is a picture of Violet…sleeping and tired and cold after a stormy night and long 20 mile day.
