Shelby Bottom Park Training

So the training continues. Yesterday we had a five mile run which we did at Shelby Bottom Park in East Nashville. The park was a very nice place to run as it was pretty flat. The Shelby Greenway is part of the Nashville plan to have greenways running throughout the city.

We went for a bike ride tonight and came upon these cows just over the hill. The wall is interesting, you can really tell from the photo, but the ground on the other side of the wall goes to the top of the wall. I guess the cows don’t want to go over the wall, either because of the 3 to 4 foot step down or the rocks are unstable for them to walk on. Either way we found it very interesting that there wasn’t a fence here.
