pre-hike

We’ve been boxing up our food for our big hike and have been enjoying it…mostly. There is a lot of work to be done…and reuben still hasn’t finished packing up his stuff to go to storage yet. We’ve also been trying to take violet for runs in the morning to work all of us out too…as we’ve all gotten kind of slack in that department over the last hectic week!
Today we’re running errands…such as 1) going to the vet to get a crash course in doggie first aid, 2) purchasing 150 soy sauce packets from “ten minute” (the local chinese restaurant that always says this when you call in an order…), 3) picking up reuben’s new ring with a surprise inscription (because the other one was ordered in a size too big by the jewelry store in columbus! (but they’re refunding us…thank goodness)…and many other little things…
Well, we’d better get off the computer so that we can go run!
